Tomato Silhouette F1

Why 'Siluet F1' is a staple for professional growers

When you are running a tomato operation, the balance between early maturity and shelf life is everything. The semi-determinate 'Siluet F1' from Syngenta hits that sweet spot perfectly. The plants are vigorous but don't demand excessive pruning, which is a lifesaver during peak season when every hour counts.

Built-in field resilience

It handles a wide range of diseases—Verticillium wilt, Fusarium wilt, Cladosporium, and Stemphylium—with ease. This resistance reduces the need for constant fungicide applications, keeping production costs down. Even in high-humidity conditions, the foliage remains clean and the fruit stays healthy.

Logistics and shelf life

The fruit, typically weighing 100-150 grams, has that uniform, round shape that customers look for at the market. Transportability is excellent; the tomatoes don't soften or crack after harvest. With a storage potential of over 30 days, they hold up perfectly, which is critical if your distribution channels require long-distance shipping.

• Season: Up to 90 days to maturity, ensuring a quick return on investment.
• Durability: Exceptional shelf life (>30 days) makes it a top choice for commercial trade.
• Performance: Swiss-engineered genetics from Syngenta provide consistent quality and high yield potential with manageable plant structure.
