Tomato variety 'Sirennyy Tuman' is an exotic medium-early indeterminate variety with plant height ranging from 120 to 150 cm. Fruits ripen approximately on day 111-115 after emergence of seedlings. The plant is resistant to diseases, as well as to cracking and over-ripening of fruits, making it easy to grow and care for. Fruit production continues until frost, allowing for a prolonged harvest period.
The tomatoes have a round shape and small size, with individual fruit weight ranging from 30 to 80 grams. Their unique coloration is due to high natural anthocyanin content, giving the skin a dark purple or even nearly black hue. At full ripeness, the upper part of the fruit becomes dark purple, while the lower part turns red, depending on the intensity of sunlight. The interior of the tomato is red-pink, with dense flesh and a delicate fruity aroma. The taste combines sweetness and a mild acidity, making them pleasant to eat fresh.
The variety is characterized by high vitamin C and antioxidant content, as well as approximately 5% sugars and 6% dry matter. Due to their flavor and decorative coloration, 'Sirennyy Tuman' tomatoes are widely used not only for fresh consumption but also for canning. The yield is average, but they are primarily grown for aesthetic enjoyment and to impress guests with their unusual fruit appearance.
