POMIDOROVY

Tomato variety 'Podmoskovnyy' is a tall indeterminate variety primarily intended for cultivation in greenhouses of the middle belt. Plants can reach up to 2.5 meters in height and require mandatory support and pruning to one or two stems. For planting, it is recommended to maintain a spacing of 50-60 cm between plants, and seedlings should be sown 45-60 days before transplanting, depending on light conditions. The variety responds well to fertilization, which contributes to a stable and high yield.

The fruits of tomato 'Podmoskovnyy' are large, meaty, heart-shaped, weighing up to 800 grams. Fruit color varies from red to pink (raspberry), they have a sweet taste and are suitable for fresh consumption as well as for making juices, sauces, ketchup, and winter salads. The medium-maturing period allows harvesting at optimal times, making this variety versatile for various culinary purposes.

A distinctive feature of this variety is its resistance to temperature fluctuations and several diseases, ensuring stable yield. When grown in greenhouses, it is important to promptly remove suckers up to the first truss and lower leaves during fruit ripening, which promotes better ventilation and plant development. In open ground, the variety also shows good yield, forming 5-9 fruits per truss.
