Tomato Polfast F1 is an early determinate hybrid developed by the Dutch company Enza Zaden. This variety is characterized by high yield and resilience, making it popular among both home gardeners and commercial growers. Plants form compact bushes 60-65 cm tall with moderate foliage and a strong root system, which promotes good growth and protects fruits from sunburn. The hybrid is suitable for cultivation in open ground, under plastic cover, and in low greenhouses, providing an early harvest as early as 54-58 days after planting. The fruits of tomato Polfast F1 are round, meaty, and bright red with high dry matter content. Average fruit weight ranges from 100 to 200 grams, allowing for use both fresh and for processing, particularly for making tomato paste. The fruits have excellent flavor, do not crack, and ripen uniformly on clusters, with 5 to 8 tomatoes forming per cluster. Yield per plant can reach up to 15 kg, with a recommended planting density of 2-3 plants per square meter. The Polfast F1 hybrid exhibits resistance to major tomato diseases such as fusarium, alternaria, cladosporiosis, and verticillium, significantly simplifying care and enhancing harvest reliability under various climatic conditions. The plant sets fruit well even at lower temperatures, expanding its cultivation possibilities in regions with unstable climates.
