MIRANTE is an early-maturing cherry tomato hybrid designed for individual fruit harvesting. The fruits have a bright, saturated red color, round shape, and dense structure of the slightly ribbed type. Each fruit weighs 35 to 45 grams, and 12 to 18 fruits form per truss; however, it is recommended to thin to 14-16 fruits for optimal development. Unripe fruits are dark green with a characteristic spot at the base, making it easy to determine ripeness.
The plant is indeterminate with long green leaves of medium length and simple inflorescences. The pedicel is equipped with a joint, facilitating harvest. The hybrid is characterized by high yield, reaching 11.5-13.7 kg of marketable fruits per square meter in polyethylene greenhouses. The fruits have a sweet and aromatic flavor, with sugar content of 7.0-8.0 Brix, making them especially attractive for salad use and fresh consumption.
MIRANTE exhibits high resistance to Tomato Yellow Leaf Curl Virus (TYLCV) and Fusarium (Ff), ensuring stable yields and reducing the need for intensive plant protection. Due to its qualities and characteristics, this hybrid is suitable for cultivation in various climatic zones and regions, providing a stable and flavorful harvest.
