Tomato Camry RZ F1

Stable Performance for Professional Greenhouses

For growers focused on consistent production, the Camry RC F1 hybrid from Rijk Zwaan is a staple choice. Designed specifically for greenhouse environments, this variety is prized for its ability to withstand high disease pressure, which is critical for maintaining yields throughout the entire season.

Disease Resistance and Farm Management

The core strength of the Camry RC F1 lies in its robust genetic resistance profile. By integrating this hybrid into your crop rotation, you effectively mitigate risks associated with Verticillium wilt, Fusarium wilt (races 0, 1), and Tomato Mosaic Virus. Furthermore, its resistance to Cladosporium (leaf mold) and Stemphylium significantly reduces the need for frequent fungicide applications, leading to lower production costs and cleaner crops.

Key Specifications

• Plant Type: Indeterminate (requires pruning and staking).
• Maturity: 90–100 days.
• Fruit Traits: Round shape, 150–200 grams, 4–6 locules.

The Camry RC F1 produces high-quality red fruits with excellent structural density. This density ensures that the tomatoes maintain their integrity during shipping and storage, making them a preferred product for retail distribution. While the indeterminate growth habit requires diligent maintenance, such as trimming and trellising, the payoff is a predictable and high-quality yield that meets the stringent requirements of professional markets.
