Tomato BANDITOS

Focus on Shelf Life and Marketability

The Russian breeding company Ooo «Grinomika» (originator Greenomica) introduced the «Banditos» tomato variety, which quickly established a niche for medium-sized tomatoes intended for long-term supply chains. In an era where farmers seek a balance between flavor profile and the ability of produce to reach retail shelves without losses, this hybrid offers a highly practical solution.

Agronomic Profile

«Banditos» fruits reach 80–100 grams, making them ideal for tray packaging and retail distribution. A consistent, round shape and a classic red color meet consumer expectations, while the dense skin ensures excellent durability during long-distance transportation.

Logistical Edge

The standout feature of this model is its storage potential, exceeding 30 days. This is a critical factor for producers dealing with retail chains or planning sales during the off-season. Unlike many early varieties that lose their marketability just a week after harvest, «Banditos» maintains its turgor and quality for over a month under proper storage conditions. For any commercial operation, this translates to flexible sales scheduling and significantly reduced waste risks.
