The tomato variety Anakonda is a medium-early determinate type, intended for cultivation in open ground. The vegetation period ranges from 115 to 125 days, allowing for early harvest. Plants reach a height of 50-70 cm, have a compact structure, facilitating care and harvest. The plant is heat- and light-loving, prefers light fertile soils, and responds well to fertilization. For planting, seedlings aged 50-60 days are recommended, or seeds can be sown at a depth of 1-1.5 cm, previously treated with a 1% solution of potassium permanganate to enhance germination.
The fruits of tomato Anakonda have pear or plum-like shape with a small stem, weighing 80 to 150 grams. They are a deep red color, evenly colored, without green spots at the stem. The flesh is firm and has an excellent taste, making this variety versatile in use. Tomatoes are suitable for fresh consumption as well as for canning, pickling, juice, and sauce preparation. Due to the synchronized fruiting, about 70% of the fruits ripen simultaneously, which is especially convenient for storage.
The Anakonda variety is heat-tolerant and suitable for mechanized harvest, enhancing its attractiveness for commercial cultivation. The plant does not require mandatory pinching or shaping, but due to the large size of the fruits and relatively weak stem structure, supports are recommended to prevent stem and cluster breakage. High yield reaches 680-750 centners per hectare, confirming its efficiency and reliability for gardeners and farmers.
