Hallar F1

Tomato Hallar F1 is an early-maturing hybrid of large-fruited red beef tomato, developed by the Japanese company Sakata. The plant is characterized by high productivity and resistance to a range of diseases, including Fusarium wilt, verticillium, as well as viruses ToMV, Vd, Fol, Pf, Mi and TSWV. The vegetation period is approximately 60-70 days, allowing for early harvest both in open ground and under greenhouse conditions using seedling cultivation. The plant is compact with short internodes, making it suitable for short rotation cycles, as well as tall and bushy, reaching up to 3 meters in height under greenhouse cultivation.

Hallar F1 fruits have a flat-round shape with slight ribbing, are large in size and have a dense structure. The average weight of tomatoes ranges from 250 to 600 grams, with individual fruits reaching 400-500 grams. They are uniformly colored in deep red without green spots, have juicy and succulent flesh with small seed chambers and a balanced sweet-sour taste. Due to their dense skin, the fruits withstand harvesting, transportation and storage, preserving their commercial qualities.

Hallar F1 is suitable for cultivation both in open ground and in greenhouses, demonstrating stable yields and high adaptability to various conditions. The plant has a well-developed root system that effectively absorbs nutrients from the soil, contributing to the formation of large and flavorful fruits. This hybrid is recommended for use in fresh markets, as well as for home consumption and making tomato juices, thanks to its taste qualities and versatility.
