SULFOR — this is a sunflower hybrid with high resistance to ragweed, including all known strains of this parasite. It possesses genetic resistance to sulfonylurea herbicides based on tribenuron-methyl, ensuring effective protection of crops from weeds. The hybrid has a medium-early maturity period and high yield potential, exceeding 40 c/ha, with oil content in seeds ranging from 51 to 55%.
SULFOR plants are characterized by high drought tolerance, making them particularly suitable for cultivation in various climatic zones, including the Central Chernozem, North Caucasus, Middle Volga, Lower Volga, and Ural regions, as well as steppe and forest-steppe zones. The hybrid is resistant to diseases such as phomopsis, verticillium wilt, and sclerotinia, further enhancing crop stability.
To achieve optimal yield, it is recommended to follow specific planting density: 60–65 thousand plants per hectare in areas with adequate moisture and 50–55 thousand plants per hectare in areas with insufficient moisture. Low-growing and early-maturing, SULFOR is a reliable choice for farmers aiming to obtain high-quality and stable sunflower yields with high oil content.
