Description SF 0618 JOA
SF 0618 JOA is a sunflower hybrid included in the State Register of the Russian Federation and intended for cultivation in all regions of the country. It is characterized by tall plant height at maturity and lack of branching, which contributes to the formation of a powerful and stable plant. Leaves have a dark green coloration with very weak blistering, while ray florets are yellow. Seeds differ by the absence or very weak expression of marginal stripes, which is an important variety characteristic.

The hybrid has high germination - up to 99%, and oil content at the level of 52%, which ensures a high yield potential. The vegetative period is about 105-110 days, which allows the hybrid to successfully adapt to various climatic conditions. Average plant height reaches about 170 cm, and the head diameter is about 17 cm, which contributes to efficient seed formation and their quality.

Special attention is paid to the hybrid's resistance to diseases and herbicides. SF 0618 JOA shows resistance to a number of diseases, including race 730 of powdery mildew, white and gray rot, phoma, and other common sunflower diseases. Additionally, the hybrid is tolerant to herbicides of the tribenuron-methyl group and glyphosate-containing preparations, which facilitates crop care and increases plant protection efficiency.
