Sunflower F7 AH2 MKA

Early maturity meets oil content: The Limagrain advantage

When you need to harvest within the shortest possible window without compromising crop quality, the Soltis-bred Ф 7 АХ 2 МКА, offered by Limagrain, becomes a strategic agricultural asset. This sunflower hybrid is specifically tailored for intensive farming operations or growers facing tight seasonal constraints.

Why it stands out

The primary competitive edge of this hybrid is its synergy of an ultra-early vegetation cycle (90–100 days) and a high oil accumulation potential (50–55%). While the market is flooded with early-maturing varieties, few can match this specific performance regarding oil output at harvest time. Large seed size makes it a preferred choice for processors, while farmers benefit from faster field clearance ahead of winter crop planting.

Target producers

• Growers in regions with short warm seasons, where the risk of early autumn frost is a critical factor.
• Producers looking for an ideal candidate for double-cropping systems.
• Farmers aiming to capitalize on early-season market price peaks by harvesting ahead of the main supply wave.

The trade-off for this hybrid’s efficiency is its high-intensity nature: it demands precise fertilization management. The French breeding approach of Soltis is focused on resource conversion; therefore, on poor or exhausted soils without adequate mineral support, its potential for high oil content may be compromised. This is an instrument for professionals who manage plant nutrition proactively rather than relying on luck.
