• Downy Mildew (Peronosporosis): Strong genetic resistance protects the stand during the critical early growth stages.
• Phomopsis and Phoma: The hybrid shows excellent tolerance to these diseases, which are known to cause premature wilting and reduced oil content in the seeds.

From a farm management perspective, ED 47 is a tool for streamlining crop production. Its high tolerance to imidazolinone herbicides allows for an efficient one-pass herbicide application.
