ED 47

Sunflower ED 47 is a medium-early simple hybrid of the linoleic type with high yield potential and resistance to major diseases. It features high tolerance to rust, leaf and head diseases, as well as excellent resistance to lodging. The hybrid is suitable for cultivation in various climatic conditions and soil types, including chernozems, dark chestnut, and chestnut soils, making it a versatile choice for different regions.

ED 47 exhibits high resistance to sunflower downy mildew, including races A-E and G, as well as to new strains of this pathogen, significantly reducing the risk of yield loss. Additionally, the hybrid is resistant to herbicides containing tribenuron-methyl, enabling effective application of herbicide technologies such as ExpressSun®.
