Sunflower EBRIS

Stability and Oil Content: The Selection Breakthrough from Ooo Galaktika

The Ebris sunflower hybrid, developed by the Ooo Galaktika team under the leadership of Konstantin Zolotarev and Anatoly Yakovenko, is the result of focused selection aimed at intensive farming. The primary goal of the originators was to combine high oil content with agronomic reliability.

Agronomic Potential

A key advantage of Ebris is its adaptability to the Euro-Lightning protection system. This makes it an effective tool for controlling tough weeds and broomrape, which is critical for farmers working on infested fields. With a plant height of 170–180 cm, the hybrid shows excellent uniformity, and the medium-sized convex head ensures optimal nutrient accumulation. An oil content of 50–55% makes this hybrid highly competitive in the raw materials market.

Field Reliability

One of the model’s greatest strengths is its complex resistance to pathogens. In conditions of high humidity and infection pressure, Ebris successfully resists major threats:

• White rot;
• Downy mildew;
• Phomopsis;
• Phoma.

With a vegetation period of 90–100 days, Ebris is classified as an early-ripening hybrid. This earliness significantly reduces the risks associated with adverse weather conditions in late summer, ensuring a stable harvest even in regions with a short warm season.

For farms seeking a balance between intensive technologies and high returns per hectare, this selection from Ooo Galaktika is a reliable choice, confirmed by years of practical application in commercial fields.
