BINGO — this is a mid-season, two-line sunflower hybrid (Helianthus annuus L.) with green leaves and medium pitting. The plant reaches medium height at maturity and does not branch. Flowering occurs very early; ray flowers are yellow. Seeds are characterized by strongly expressed marginal stripes and weakly expressed stripes between the edges. The vegetative period of the hybrid is 117 days. Average yield in the North Caucasus region reaches 22.6 centners per hectare, with the maximum yield recorded at 46.9 centners per hectare. The 1000-seed mass is 73.6 g, and the average oil content in the seeds is 48.0%, ensuring oil harvest up to 10.0 centners per hectare. To protect sunflower BINGO crops from a wide spectrum of broadleaf weeds, it is recommended to use the post-emergence herbicide Bingo, containing the active ingredient tribenuron-methyl at a concentration of 750 g/kg. The preparation is available in water-soluble granules and is applied at a rate of 15 to 50 g/ha with 200-400 liters of working liquid per hectare. The herbicide is effective against annual and perennial broadleaf weeds, including 2,4-D resistant species, providing rapid weed growth inhibition within 2-3 hours after application and their death within 2-3 weeks. The herbicide Bingo is compatible with most pesticides and can be used not only in sunflower crops but also in cereal grass crops such as winter wheat and barley. This makes it a universal tool for crop protection, contributing to increased yield and product quality. Using the herbicide in combination with the sunflower hybrid BINGO allows effective weed control and ensures stable crop development.
