Perfekta F1

Perfekta F1 is a mid-season hybrid sweet corn developed by Moravoseed from the Czech Republic. The plant reaches a height of about 210 cm and features cylindrical, yellow-colored ears 20-22 cm long and 4.8-5 cm in diameter. Each ear consists of 16-18 rows of kernels, which are distinguished by high sweetness and pleasant taste, making this hybrid ideal for fresh consumption as well as for canning and freezing.

The hybrid Perfekta F1 has a vegetative period of 85-90 days and is intended for cultivation in open fields, primarily in Ukraine. The plant is heat-loving and prefers fertile, moist soils. For successful cultivation, seeds are sown in spring after the threat of frost, at soil temperatures not lower than +12 degrees Celsius, to a depth of about 5 cm. Sowing before frost may result in loss of yield.

Sweet corn Perfekta F1 has a high sugar content — 85-90% — as well as corn oil in the kernels at a level of 20-22%. The potential yield of the hybrid is 210 g/kg. Thanks to its characteristics and adaptation to local conditions, this hybrid is an excellent choice for farmers aiming to obtain a high-quality and flavorful sweet corn harvest.
