Gia F1 sweet corn is a mid-early SH2 (supersweet) hybrid developed by the Dutch company Hazera. The vegetation period is 75-78 days, allowing the hybrid to be successfully grown in open ground with a stable yield. Plants reach a height of up to 215 cm, have a strong root system and abundant foliage, ensuring their resilience to adverse weather conditions, including high temperatures and drought. Additionally, the hybrid exhibits high resistance to fungal diseases, reducing the risk of crop loss and simplifying crop management.

The corn ears are cylindrical, 22-23 cm long and about 5-5.5 cm in diameter, with 18-20 rows of bright yellow, smooth, and shiny kernels. The kernels are full and retain their juiciness and sweetness for a long time, making the harvest remain fresh and appealing for an extended period. This feature makes the Gia F1 hybrid ideal for fresh consumption, as well as for culinary processing and industrial processing, including the production of various preserves.

The hybrid is characterized by high plasticity and adaptability to various growing conditions and care, enabling stable and high yields even under challenging climatic conditions. Due to its good storability and transportability, Gia F1 corn maintains its flavor and appearance during transportation and storage. These properties make this hybrid in demand both for fresh markets and for industrial processing.
