SALSA CL is the first, herbicide-resistant hybrid of winter rape from NPZ-LEMBKE®.
SALSA CL belongs, like HIDALGO, to the early maturing group with rapid development in early stages. After two years of cultivation, SALSA CL is considered one of the more widely grown hybrids in Ukraine. SALSA CL enables successful cultivation of winter rape in problematic areas with high weed infestation by cruciferous weeds.
PROPERTIES
SALSA CL belongs to medium-high growth type with plant height 140-160 cm. Application of herbicide NOPASARAN has the best effect after rape seedlings emergence, when weeds are in cotyledon stage.
Favorable effect on individual plant development is achieved by precise adherence to seeding rate.
Due to its rapid development in early stages, hybrid SALSA CL is ideally suited for medium sowing dates. Optimal sowing dates for SALSA CL are the end of the first and second decade of April. Successful application of herbicide NOPASARAN when sufficient soil moisture is present.
