NS RAS

NS RAS is a type 00 winter rapeseed (Brassica napus var. napus) hybrid, characterized by the absence of erucic acid and low glucosinolate content, making its produce higher quality and safer for use. The hybrid is medium-early maturing, with a vegetation period of about 302 days and average flowering time. Plants have an average height of about 130-136 cm, with the lower branch attachment height of approximately 34 cm. Leaves are green with a small share and medium edge serration. The mass of 1000 seeds varies from 4.0 to 4.2 grams. NS RAS possesses high winter hardiness, rated at 5 points, as well as lodging resistance at the same level. Shattering resistance is 3 points, ensuring crop preservation. The average yield of the hybrid in the Kaliningrad region is about 45-47 c/ha, which exceeds regional standard indicators. The maximum registered yield reached 54.9-58.3 c/ha. Fat content in seeds is high – about 46.7-47.6%, which is above standard values and contributes to obtaining quality oil. The NS RAS hybrid is recommended for cultivation in the Northwestern region of Russia, specifically in the Kaliningrad region, where it shows stable and high results.
