KWS CYRILL CL — this is a mid-early hybrid of winter rape, developed by the breeding company KWS for cultivation using the Clearfield technology. The hybrid is characterized by rapid autumn development and early flowering, which facilitates efficient water use and ensures rapid vegetation recovery in spring. Recommended sowing dates are medium and late, with a seeding rate of 400-500 thousand seeds per hectare. The vegetation period ranges from 240 to 306 days, allowing the crop to adapt to various climatic conditions.

The hybrid has high drought resistance and lodging resistance, which enhances yield stability under adverse weather conditions. Special attention has been paid to disease resistance: KWS CYRILL CL features a new generation of resistance to phoma (gene RLM7), as well as moderate resistance to alternaria, verticillium, and white spot diseases. Additionally, the plant is resistant to pod cracking, which reduces losses during harvest.

The oil content in the seeds of the hybrid varies from 42.2% to 45%, ensuring high oil content and economic efficiency of cultivation. The hybrid is recommended for cultivation in various regions, including the Polissia, Forest-Steppe, and Steppe of Ukraine, as well as the Central Chernozem region of Russia, for example, Kursk Oblast. The yield potential reaches 60 centners per hectare, making KWS CYRILL CL an attractive choice for farmers aiming for high and stable winter rape yields.
