Alicante is a winter rapeseed hybrid distinguished by high cold tolerance and stability in continental climatic conditions. Thanks to its rapid spring development and early maturation, this variety ensures a reliable yield even under varying altitudes and dry conditions. Alicante possesses genetic resistance to pod cracking and tolerance to root neck elongation in autumn, enhancing its adaptability and reducing losses during cultivation.

The variety is characterized by high resistance to major diseases and adverse factors: cold resistance is rated 9, drought and lodging resistance — 8, fusarium resistance — 9, and white mold and mildew resistance — 8. Yield potential reaches 71 centners per hectare, with seed oil content of 47-50%. The recommended seeding rate is 400-500 thousand seeds per hectare, allowing optimal use of sowing areas.

Alicante belongs to the non-erucic acid rapeseed varieties, making it particularly valuable for the food industry and oil production.
