Description Aquila
The hybrid rapeseed Aquila is a medium-early, high-yielding type 00 (erucic acid-free) variety registered in France, Hungary, and Ukraine. It features high winter hardiness and stable yield due to its adaptability and plasticity to various growing conditions. Medium-height plants with strong branching exhibit high lodging resistance, which helps preserve yield and facilitates harvest.

Aquila is characterized by high resistance to several diseases, including phoma (genetic resistance Rlm7), white rot, mold, and turnip yellows virus TuYV. The hybrid is also tolerant to root neck elongation and possesses genetic resistance to pod cracking, which reduces seed loss and improves crop quality.

Moreover, Aquila has very high oil content and yield, as well as efficient nitrogen uptake and utilization, making it especially suitable for short rotation systems and stressful growing conditions. The prolonged green effect of stems helps maintain vegetative growth and improves overall plant condition during maturation.
