Anniversary is a spring rape variety (Brassica napus var. napus) belonging to the early-maturing group with a maturity period of 78 to 100 days. It is intended for growing for seeds and feed purposes, distinguished by high field germination, low lodging, and shattering resistance. Plants are uniform in height, flowering, and maturity, ensuring ease of harvesting and high crop preservation. The variety is adapted for cultivation in various regions of Russia, including the Volga-Vyatskaya, Middle-Volga, Ural, West-Siberian, and East-Siberian.
The Anniversary 23 variety, created by individual selection from the original Anniversary variety, possesses improved economically useful traits. It is characterized by high yield and seed oil content, reaching up to 53%, which significantly increases oil output per unit area. According to variety trial results, this variety outperforms standard analogues in seed yield and oil collection. Moreover, it is resistant to lodging, shattering, and major pathogens, contributing to production stability.
Anniversary features uniform seedlings, drought and disease resistance, ensuring stable and high yields. Seed oil content is approximately 49%, glucosinolate content is at the level of 14-15 µmol/g, indicating high quality of oil and meal. Potential seed yield reaches 26 c/ha, and green mass yield up to 22 t/ha. These characteristics make the variety attractive to agrarians focused on efficient production of oilseed crops and feed.
