FORUM is a spring rape (Brassica napus var. napus) variety of type 00, which means the absence of erucic acid and low glucosinolate content. It is intended for cultivation both for seeds and for feed purposes. The variety is characterized by high yield and quality seed indicators: the mass of 1000 seeds ranges from 3.3 to 4.0 grams, and the fat content in seeds reaches 44.7-49.4%, which is 1.6% higher than standard values. The vegetation period of the variety ranges from 99 to 110 days, and the plant is practically not subject to lodging, which facilitates mechanized harvesting.

FORUM variety is recommended for cultivation in various regions of Russia, including the Northwestern, Central, Volga-Vyatsk and North Caucasian regions. Average seed yield varies depending on the region: from 3.0 ц/га in the Volga-Vyatsk region to 8.5 ц/га in the North Caucasian region. The plant demonstrates moderate resistance to pests, in particular to cruciferous flea beetles.

Growing rape of the FORUM variety requires adherence to certain agrotechnical measures, including selection of suitable varieties, sowing technologies, crop care, weed and pest control. Special attention is paid to harvesting and storage issues. Farmers' experience shows that the variety adapts well to various climatic conditions, although problems with field infestation with oil radish and overwintering issues are possible, which require additional control and application of fertilizers and pesticides.
