Brander

Brander is a hybrid of spring rapeseed (Brassica napus var. napus) of medium-early intensive type, designed for seed production. It is characterized by a vegetation period of about 107 days, which in some regions, such as the Bryansk and Vladimir regions, is reduced by 4-6 days. Thanks to the prolonged grain filling, the hybrid ensures high yield: in the Central region, the average figure is 13.9 c/ha, while in the Ryazan region it reaches 27.5 c/ha. The fat content in seeds is 46.6%, which allows for an oil yield of up to 6.7 c/ha.
