Alasco

Alasco — is a non-erucic acid winter rapeseed hybrid with high yield potential and suitable for cultivation in various climatic zones of Ukraine, including the Polissia, Forest-Steppe, and Steppe regions. The hybrid features medium plant height and medium vegetation recovery, ensuring stable crop development during optimal and late sowing periods. The oil content of the variety is 8, indicating high-quality raw material.

One of the key features of Alasco is its genetic resistance to cabbage yellows, significantly reducing the risk of yield losses when this disease spreads. Additionally, the hybrid demonstrates high tolerance to verticillium wilt, cylindrical sporiosis, and phomopsis, as well as genetic resistance to pod cracking, which helps preserve seeds and improve the commercial quality of the product. Resistance to lodging, cold tolerance, and drought tolerance are at a high level, making this hybrid adapted to various stress conditions.

The recommended seeding rate is 350-450 thousand plants per hectare, which is optimal for achieving maximum yield. Glucosinolate content in seeds does not exceed 15 mmol/g, meeting the quality standards for non-erucic acid varieties of type 00.
