Description Acapulco
Acapulco — a high-yielding winter rapeseed hybrid of type 00 (erucic acid-free), developed by Limagrain and adapted for cultivation in Ukraine. This hybrid belongs to the medium-early maturity group and is characterized by rapid early growth in autumn, without a tendency for stem elongation. Plants have medium height and demonstrate moderate spring vegetative recovery. Seeds exhibit high plasticity to various fertilizers, promoting the formation of a high number of pods and seeds per square meter, ensuring a yield potential of up to 71 centners per hectare.

The Acapulco hybrid is distinguished by high winter hardiness and drought resistance due to its strong root system. It has a high compensatory capacity, enabling it to withstand delayed sowing and successfully utilize wide-row planting schemes. Rapeseed is resistant to lodging and demonstrates stability under stress conditions, including drought and low temperatures. The recommended seeding rate is 350-450 thousand seeds per hectare.

Special attention has been paid to disease resistance: the hybrid possesses genetic resistance to sclerotinia (gene RLM7), high tolerance to white mold and fungi, and resistance to pod cracking. Oil content in the seeds is 47-50%, with glucosinolate levels below 15 mmol/g and erucic acid content equal to zero, making the product ecologically clean and suitable for processing. Acapulco is cultivated using classical technology and is suitable for achieving stable and high yields under various climatic conditions.
