R 501 C 11 is a spring rapeseed variety (Brassica napus var. napus) type 00, characterized by the absence of erucic acid and low glucosinolate content. It is intended for feed and grain use and is well-adapted to the conditions of the East Siberian region. The plants are mid-season with a vegetation period of 105-110 days, height of 92-98 cm, semi-closed bush form, and uniform branch placement. The stem is cylindrical, straight, and smooth; leaves are alternate and covered with a waxy coating, while flowers are bright yellow and compact. Fruits are lemon-yellow pods about 63 mm long, containing 20-22 black oval-round seeds. The variety boasts high seed yield of up to 21.9 c/ha and green mass yield of 315-380 c/ha, with oil content of 45-47%. Seeds contain 22.8% protein, and the oil fatty acid composition is predominantly oleic (62.8%) and linoleic (20.8%) acids, with minimal erucic acid content (0.2%). Plants ripen synchronously, hardly lodge, have moderate drought resistance, and are resistant to mechanized harvesting. R 501 C 11 is suitable for cultivation in various climatic conditions, ensuring a stable and quality harvest. Thanks to its agronomic characteristics and high oil content, the variety is a profitable choice for agricultural producers oriented towards the feed and grain rapeseed direction.
