PT216CL is a tall winter rapeseed hybrid developed for the Clearfield® production system. It is characterized by medium maturity, rapid autumn growth, and medium-early flowering. Plant height reaches 160-170 cm, providing good leaf surface area for photosynthesis and contributing to high yield. The hybrid is adaptable to growing conditions, well-suited to various climatic zones including southern regions, thanks to its rapid autumn growth and high drought tolerance.

PT216CL is not picky about soil type and demonstrates excellent root system and rosette development even on light sandy soils. This makes it especially suitable for regions with less fertile soils, such as Bessarabia, where it shows high yield performance. The hybrid responds well to the application of plant growth regulators, allowing optimization of growth and development during the vegetation period.

The hybrid offers high and stable yield with oil content around 8%, making it profitable for oilseed production. It exhibits good winter hardiness and disease resistance due to mandatory seed treatment with fungicides and insecticides. PT216CL is suitable for a wide range of agronomic conditions and is recommended for cultivation in all climatic zones where winter rapeseed is grown.
