Rapeseed DRCL 1

Field Performance: A Hands-on Look at DРЦЛ 1 Winter Oilseed Rape

In the field, its behavior is consistent: spring regrowth starts predictably, and the crop displays impressive endurance against late frosts, a critical factor in our climate.

Agronomic Insights and Crop Management

• Root development: The hybrid establishes a vigorous root system, which is essential for capturing moisture during drier autumns.
• Uniform maturity: The crop reaches harvest maturity evenly across the field, making the combine setup straightforward and significantly reducing harvest losses due to pod shattering.
• Fertilizer response: The hybrid is highly responsive to intensive management practices. Targeted nitrogen applications translate into visible growth within a week.

The key is autumn management: the hybrid is quite vigorous, so growth regulators are mandatory to prevent premature bolting, which would jeopardize its winter survival. Once that is under control, the crop stays manageable throughout the season.

Why Choose DРЦЛ 1?

If you are looking for stability rather than chasing temporary yields, this German-bred hybrid delivers. The consistency across the field is a major advantage when monitoring the crop. The seeding rates recommended by the originator (DSV) are well-calibrated, ensuring the optimal plant density at harvest time. This hybrid is essentially a reliable “workhorse” of German breeding that performs exceptionally well under professional management, forgiving minor agronomic slips while rewarding precision with a robust yield.
