Description SY Estiva
Sunflower SY Estiva is a modern hybrid developed by Syngenta to achieve high yield and resistance to adverse growing conditions. This mid-season hybrid with a vegetation period of 106–115 days features a high yield potential of 25–30 c/ha and plant height ranging from 150 to 170 cm. SY Estiva is recommended for the "Clearfield" processing technology and shows optimal performance on fertile soils under high agronomic standards.

The hybrid exhibits high resistance to major sunflower diseases such as Phomopsis, Phomosis, Sclerotinia (white mold), and gray mold, as well as to races of downy mildew A–E, significantly reducing the risk of yield loss. An important feature is its high oil content, reaching up to 50%, making SY Estiva attractive for high-quality sunflower oil production. Seeds undergo strict laboratory and field testing to ensure quality and compliance with standards.

For successful cultivation, it is recommended to avoid dense planting to prevent lodging. Seed treatment with Cruiser provides additional protection against pests and diseases during early growth stages. SY Estiva is suitable for cultivation in various regions, including southern Ukraine and Eastern Europe, thanks to its adaptability to different climatic conditions and resistance to pathogens.
