SY ARPEGIO

SY ARPEGIO — is an early-maturing high-oleic sunflower hybrid developed by Syngenta AG for conventional cultivation. The hybrid is characterized by high yield potential up to 8 tons per hectare and stable yield at 8 points. Plants reach a height of 150-170 cm, and seeds are black. Oil content in the seeds is 48-50%, with oleic acid content in the oil reaching up to 90%, making this hybrid particularly valuable for producing high-quality oil.

SY ARPEGIO exhibits high resistance to various diseases and stress factors. The hybrid demonstrates maximum resistance to rust, high tolerance to froge and sclerotinia, as well as excellent drought tolerance. Special attention is paid to resistance to new strains of downy mildew (Peronospora) — the hybrid is resistant to strains A–F, significantly reducing the risk of yield losses under adverse conditions. Overall disease tolerance is rated at 9 points, confirming the hybrid's reliability across various climatic zones.

Recommended planting density for SY ARPEGIO depends on soil moisture levels: in zones with adequate moisture, optimal density is 55-60 thousand plants per hectare, while in areas with limited moisture — 40-45 thousand plants per hectare. The hybrid exhibits good pollen basket filling and stable yield performance even under stress conditions, making it a profitable choice for farmers across all regions of Ukraine.
