SY Arisona

Sunflower seeds SY Arisona are a mid-season linoleic-type hybrid characterized by high yield stability and reliability. The maturation period is 111-115 days, enabling the hybrid to be successfully grown under various climatic conditions, particularly in steppe and forest-steppe zones of central and northern Ukraine. SY Arisona demonstrates excellent oil content, reaching oil levels in seeds of 52-54%, making it attractive for producing high-quality sunflower oil. The hybrid exhibits high resistance to major diseases, including various races of downy mildew (A-G), as well as tolerance to white mold, fusarium, and macrophomina. Due to its high heat and drought tolerance, SY Arisona can maintain stable yields even under conditions of insufficient moisture. Recommended planting density varies depending on soil moisture levels: from 35,000 to 55,000 plants per hectare, allowing for optimized plant growth and development under different agronomic conditions. To achieve maximum potential, the hybrid is recommended for cultivation using classical technology on fertile soils with high agronomic standards. The seed material is treated with the fungicide and insecticide Cruiser, providing additional protection against pests and diseases during early growth stages. SY Arisona has good pollen shedding and moderate early growth rates, which contribute to forming strong and productive yields.
