NA Lira

Sunflower NA Lira is a mid-season Serbian hybrid developed for Clearfield (under EuroLight) technology and intended for oilseed production. The maturation period is 110-114 days, allowing the hybrid to successfully grow in the forest-steppe and steppe zones of Ukraine. Plants reach a height of 170-180 cm, have a thin, convex head with a diameter of 22-25 cm, and black, elongated seeds. Seed oil content ranges from 48 to 50%, with a 1000-seed weight of 60-70 g, ensuring high oil yield and quality harvest. Hybrid NA Lira is characterized by high drought resistance, making it a reliable choice for regions with variable climatic conditions. It is also resistant to 6 races of downy mildew (A-F) and offers protection against major sunflower diseases such as false powdery mildew, Phomopsis, Phomopsis, rust, and sunflower rust. Additionally, the hybrid is resistant to lodging, which helps preserve yield and simplifies harvest. The recommended seeding density before harvest is 57-65 thousand plants per hectare in the forest-steppe zone and 50-55 thousand in the steppe zone. NA Lira demonstrates high yield potential of 55-58 ц/ha, making it one of the leaders among mid-season sunflower hybrids. Seed shattering rate is within 22-24%, further enhancing product quality. Thanks to its agronomic characteristics and disease resistance, this hybrid is an optimal choice for farmers aiming to obtain a stable and high-quality oilseed sunflower harvest under various climatic conditions.
