The N4L472 CL sunflower hybrid from Nuseed is a mid-early linoleic variety with a vegetation period of 105-110 days, allowing harvest at optimal times. This hybrid was created using Clearfield® technology, providing high resistance to pigweed (A-H race) and enabling low seeding rates. Seeds are treated with Maxim HL, promoting vigorous early growth and development of a strong root system, ensuring excellent results even in resource-saving technologies. One key feature of N4L472 CL is its high resistance to lodging due to the formation of a sturdy low-stemmed plant at low seeding rates (45,000-50,000 plants per hectare). The hybrid also demonstrates excellent disease tolerance, including false powdery mildew, white mold, and frogeye leaf spot, confirmed by high agronomic ratings (7-9). Drought tolerance and uniform flowering are at a high level, making this variety suitable for cultivation across all of Ukraine. The hybrid’s oil content reaches 55%, ensuring high economic efficiency. Seeds are supplied in bags of 150,000 units, sufficient for sowing on 2.2-2.5 hectares. Due to its characteristics and adaptability, N4L472 CL is suitable for both intensive and extensive cultivation technologies, ensuring a stable and high-quality sunflower harvest.
