Description LN 02
Sunflower LN 02 is a high-yielding hybrid designed for cultivation using the EuroLighting technology. This mid-season variety with a vegetation period of about 110-115 days exhibits high resistance to drought and downy mildew, making it particularly suitable for regions with variable climatic conditions. The plant is characterized by rapid early development, a sturdy medium-thickness stem, and a strong root system that ensures good nutrition and resilience to adverse factors. Hybrid LN 02 has a high oil content in seeds — from 47 to 49% — making it attractive for the oilseed industry. Thanks to its field resistance to major sunflower diseases, it ensures stable yields reaching 5.5 tons per hectare under optimal growing conditions. Seeds are treated with a fungicide protectant, which further protects plants from fungal diseases and promotes successful crop development. To achieve maximum productivity, it is recommended to maintain optimal planting density: 60-65 thousand plants per hectare in areas with sufficient moisture and 50-55 thousand in drier regions. LN 02 is well-adapted for cultivation in various regions, including southern and central areas of Ukraine, such as Dnipro, Kyiv, Odesa, Kharkiv, and others. This hybrid is a reliable choice for farmers seeking high-quality sunflower yields with good oil characteristics.
