Description Aytana
Aytana sunflower is an elite seed material developed using parent lines from the company Euralis Semences (France) and subjected to strict quality control. This hybrid is characterized by high yield and is adapted to the climatic conditions of Ukraine and Russia, enabling stable and high yields even in dry seasons. The yield potential reaches 45 centners per hectare, which is 10-15% higher compared to conventional sunflower varieties.

The genetic protection of Aytana seeds ensures resistance to pests and sunflower downy mildew, as well as to most pathogens, including the most aggressive ones. High stress tolerance and resistance to diseases such as phomopsis, sclerotinia, and phomosis make this hybrid a reliable choice for farmers. Agronomic characteristics include high early growth energy and resistance to lodging, which contribute to successful plant development.

Plant characteristics include a 1000-seed mass of about 65 grams, plant height up to 177 cm, and a flower head diameter of approximately 22 cm. A key advantage is the high oil content — 51% — making Aytana attractive for oil production. The recommended planting density varies depending on conditions and ranges from 55 to 65 thousand seeds per hectare, enabling optimized yield in various soil-climatic zones.
