FASON

FASON is a self-pollinating hybrid cucumber-gherkin that stands out for its early maturity and high yield. The plant can be grown both under plastic cover and in open ground. When grown under plastic, the first harvest appears 38 days after sowing, while in open ground, it takes approximately 45 days. The fruits have a dark green color and are covered with small bumps, giving them an attractive appearance.

FASON cucumbers do not yellow or become bitter, making them especially valuable for various processing and consumption methods. They are ideal for pickling, salting, fermenting, and preparing diverse salads. The average weight of the fruits is about 90 grams, which is optimal for gherkins.

The variety exhibits good resistance to common diseases such as powdery mildew and bacterial spot, simplifying plant care and reducing the risk of crop loss. Regular watering and feeding, such as with urea or manure, are required for successful cultivation, promoting healthy and robust plants.
