The VISIT flax variety represents a medium-late maturing variety intended for the production of flax fiber. It is characterized by a long stem and blue-violet floret, as well as brown seeds. The vegetative period of the variety is about 83 days, which allows for effective use in the agro-technical conditions of the Northwestern and Central Black Earth regions, in particular in the Vologda and Tver regions.
VISIT is distinguished by high yield: average flax straw yield reaches 41.9 centners per hectare, and seeds — 4.6 centners per hectare. Fiber content in the plant is 32.0%, while the output of long fiber reaches 29.0%. These indicators make the variety attractive for agricultural production aimed at obtaining high-quality flax fiber.
In addition, the VISIT variety has good resistance to lodging and shattering, which increases the reliability and quality of the yield.
