Description Lotar
Lothar hybrid corn is a medium-early simple hybrid with a cream-colored, dentiform kernel and high initial growth energy. This hybrid is cultivated under license from the French company PANAM Semences, ensuring high seed quality and stable yields. Plants reach heights of 190 to 250 cm, possess a strong root system that provides resistance to lodging, and form ears at approximately one meter high with 14 rows of kernels, each containing 32-34 yellow kernels.

The Lothar hybrid is distinguished by its high grain yield, reaching up to 130 centners per hectare, and can be successfully grown in various climatic zones from Steppe to Polesie, as well as on different soil types and under various weather conditions. Due to its high starch content in silage mass, this corn provides high-quality feed for cattle, promoting rapid nutrient absorption.

A key feature of this hybrid is its high resistance to a broad spectrum of fungal diseases, including helminthosporiosis, fusarium, and especially common smut. This makes Lothar a reliable choice for farms adhering to crop rotation principles and aiming to achieve stable, high-quality yields. Additionally, the hybrid provides high-quality silage with good digestibility, which is a significant advantage for animal feeding.
