Description DKC3711
The DKC3711 hybrid sweet corn is an early-maturing, high-yielding variety designed for intensive cultivation technologies. It is characterized by rapid initial growth energy and good water release during ripening, ensuring stable yields under various soil-climatic conditions. Sowing is recommended at soil temperatures of 8 °C or higher, with optimal planting density depending on moisture levels: 65,000–70,000 plants per hectare in dry conditions and 75,000–85,000 plants per hectare in well-watered zones. The hybrid is suitable for conventional, minimal tillage, and No-Till technologies, and can also be used for silage production and bioethanol and biogas manufacturing.

The plant features a strong stem reaching 230–240 cm in height and a well-developed, regenerative root system, providing resistance to lodging and stress factors. The ear is positioned at a height of 90–95 cm and contains 14–16 rows of kernels, each with 34–39 kernels, totaling 520–630 kernels per ear. The 1000-kernel weight ranges from 280–360 g. The hybrid demonstrates high resistance to major corn diseases, including Fusarium and Stewart’s wilt, as well as root and stalk rot, contributing to yield stability and improved quality.

DKC3711 exhibits high adaptability and plasticity to diverse growing conditions, making it popular in the Polissia and Forest-Steppe regions of Ukraine. Its rapid soil water infiltration and high stress tolerance enable successful growth even under challenging climatic conditions. The high starch content (over 72%) makes this variety especially valuable for industrial applications, including biofuel and feed production, expanding its potential use in the agricultural sector.
