The Globa hemp variety is intended for cultivation in various climatic zones of Ukraine, including the Polissia, forest-steppe, and steppe regions. Plants reach a height of approximately 285 cm and have a vegetative period lasting 137 days. The stem yield is approximately 9.88 tons per hectare, and the fiber yield reaches 3.18 tons per hectare. The variety is characterized by high resistance to various diseases and stress factors: resistance to wilt is rated at 8 points, to fusarium — 7.5 points, to hemp rust — 8.5 points, and to stem nematode — 7.5 points.
Globa hemp seeds do not contain psychoactive substances and are a valuable source of nutrients. They contain approximately 49% Omega-3 and Omega-6 fatty acids, which support the cardiovascular and hormonal systems. In addition, the seeds contain approximately 30% plant protein, including all 20 amino acids necessary for muscle building and immune support. The soluble and insoluble fiber present in the seeds promotes healthy digestion. Vitamin E, which has antioxidant properties, helps maintain youth and beauty. Additionally, the seeds contain magnesium, phosphorus, and manganese, which strengthen the nervous system and reduce anxiety.
Thus, the Globa variety is a universal and high-yielding hemp variety suitable for industrial cultivation for fiber and oil production, as well as for use of seeds in food and health applications. High resistance to diseases and stress makes this variety a reliable choice for farmers, while the nutrient-rich seed composition makes it beneficial for human health.
