Description Lady Anna
The Lady Anna potato is a medium-early table variety of Dutch selection, maturing in 65 to 80 days. The tubers are elongated, with small eyes, yellow skin, and flesh. Marketable tuber weight ranges from 90 to 135 grams, with 8 to 12 tubers per plant. Starch content is 15.2–17.0%, providing good taste and versatility — suitable for boiling, frying, baking, and French fries.

The variety features high market yield, reaching 160–311 centners per hectare, 34–38 centners higher than standard varieties Kolobok and Bronnitsky, with maximum yield up to 309 centners per hectare, significantly exceeding the standard Aurora. Marketable tuber percentage is 86–91%, and storability is 98%, ensuring long-term storage without quality loss.

Lady Anna exhibits resistance to several diseases and pests, including potato scab (pathotype I), golden potato cyst nematode, and crinkly and striped mosaic. Plants have medium to high growth, intermediate type with semi-erect stems, large green leaves, and medium-sized flower clusters with absent or very weak anthocyanin pigmentation on the inner side. Originator of the variety — C.MEIJER B.V. from the Netherlands.
