Unibotra

Unibotra is a mid-early heading cabbage variety suitable for year-round cultivation in open ground. The maturity period ranges from 60 to 75 days, allowing for a harvest in a short time. The plant is vigorous, forming large, dome-shaped heads weighing 2.0 to 2.5 kg, densely covered with emerald leaves that provide good protection to the head. Heads are characterized by density, absence of gaps, and resistance to cracking, ensuring high product quality.

The Unibotra variety is distinguished by high resistance to high temperatures, making it ideal for cultivation in various climatic conditions. Plants grow well at temperatures from +15 to +18°C, although they can tolerate higher temperatures, though growth slows slightly above +25°C. Seeds germinate already at +5-6°C, allowing for early spring sowing. For high-quality seedlings, it is recommended to plant hardened seedlings aged 45-60 days at a density of 2.0-4.5 plants per square meter.

Successful cultivation of Unibotra requires fertile sandy-loam or light clay soils with neutral to slightly acidic reaction (pH 6-7). Adequate moisture during vegetation is essential, as water deficiency slows plant growth. Gardeners value this variety for its attractive appearance, excellent taste, large head size, and long storage life without quality loss. Seeds are produced in Germany.
