TABALUGA F1

Peking cabbage Tabaluga F1 — a mid-season hybrid developed by the Japanese seed company Sakata. This variety is distinguished by its high adaptability and resistance to a range of diseases, including black rot, gray leaf spot, and leaf curl, ensuring a stable yield and minimal losses during cultivation. Tabaluga F1 is suitable for open-ground cultivation and tolerates dense planting, allowing efficient use of sowing area. Greenhouse conditions promote earlier crop maturity.

The plant forms elongated, compact heads with barrel-shaped or oval forms, weighing between 0.5 to 2 kilograms depending on planting density. The outer head color is light green or dark green, while the inner flesh has a bright yellow hue and juicy texture. The cabbage has a delicate flavor, making it versatile for fresh dishes and short-term storage. Heads retain an attractive appearance during transport and can be stored for 2-3 months.

The hybrid matures in 45 to 70 days, enabling early harvest. The medium-statured plant is not prone to flowering, enhancing product quality.
