Pharaoh F1 cabbage is an early, high-yielding hybrid of white cabbage developed by Dutch company Bejo Zaden breeders. The vegetation period is 60-65 days from transplanting seedlings and 95-120 days from sowing seeds. The plant exhibits high resistance to heat and cold, ensuring stable yield regardless of weather conditions. Heads have a dense structure and bright green or light green color, reaching up to 3 kg in weight and are suitable for fresh consumption, especially in vitamin salads.
Pharaoh F1 hybrid is low-maintenance and versatile for cultivation: it can be grown in open ground, under protective covers, and in greenhouses. The cabbage is resistant to fusarium and bacterial diseases, but requires pH level control of the soil to prevent clubroot infection. The plant does not tend to bolt, flower, or crack, which helps maintain the marketable appearance and quality of the harvest.
In addition, Pharaoh F1 has excellent storability and transportability, does not rot, and withstands long-distance transportation. The hybrid is suitable for dense planting and maintains marketability for a long time directly in the field. Thanks to these qualities, as well as high yield and resistance to adverse conditions, Pharaoh F1 cabbage is recommended for cultivation in all regions of Ukraine and is an excellent choice for obtaining early fresh produce for the market.
