Belongs to the new class of natural-origin insecticides ("NaturLight"), successfully combining the advantages of synthetic insecticides (high efficacy) and traditional bio-preparations (low toxicity to warm-blooded animals and other environmental objects).
Controls a broad spectrum of insect pests belonging to various taxonomic groups, such as the Colorado potato beetle and thrips; apple fruit moths and ants, etc.
Provides maximum efficacy at low application rates. Rain or irrigation (in greenhouses) within 2 hours after application does not affect the efficacy of the product.
Exhibits rapid onset of action (from several minutes to several hours) and a prolonged residual effect (2 weeks and more).
Shows strong contact-oral activity.
Exhibits excellent translaminar activity upon leaf contact; systemic properties are not pronounced.
Has a fundamentally new mode of action, which, in case of intensive use, completely eliminates the possibility of cross-resistance development. Therefore, the product is recommended for use (by rotation) in antiresistance programs.
Due to its excellent thermostability, it maintains high efficacy even under extremely hot and dry weather conditions, when other insecticides (e.g., pyrethroids) lose their activity.
Does not affect the activity of natural and artificially reared entomophagous organisms. Can be successfully and without restrictions used in combination with them, as well as with bio-preparations for total, eradication-level pest control.
Compatible in tank mixtures with bio-preparations and fungicides, as well as with insecticides having a different mode of action.
Due to rapid degradation under light exposure (half-life: on leaf surfaces from 1.6 to 16 days; in soil — 9-10 days; in water — less than 1 day), residue contamination of products and environmental objects is excluded.
Upon entering the soil, it is intensely absorbed and tightly retained by soil particles until complete degradation (half-life under microbial action: 9-17 days), thereby preventing migration of the insecticide through the soil profile and avoiding leaching from adsorption zones, and consequently, entry into groundwater or rainwater runoff.
In water medium (without air access) maintains high stability. Consequently, residual working solutions, provided they are protected from bright light, can be used without loss of quality up to the second day after preparation.
Highly selective for all plant species. Phytotoxicity is absent.
May exert toxic effects on honeybees (upon direct contact), therefore, bees should be isolated at the time of application.
