Envidor ® belongs to a new chemical class ketoenolide (tetronic acid). Due to its novel mode of action — inhibition of lipid synthesis — Envidor ® does not induce cross-resistance in pests to conventional acaricides.
Envidor ® is effective due to its contact action against all developmental stages of plant-feeding mites — eggs, larvae, protonymphs, deutonymphs, as well as against adult females. Males do not harm the crop and serve as food for predatory mites.
The optimal timing for application against mites is early season, when pest population levels are low, which will help save on subsequent treatments. However, Envidor ® demonstrates high efficacy throughout the entire vegetation season, so it can also be used during mite outbreaks.
GENERAL SPECTRUM OF ACTIVITY
MITES
Spider mites (Tetranychidae)
Yellow apple spider mite (Eotetranychus pomi)
Garden spider mite (Schizotetranychus pruni)
Common spider mite (Tetranychus urticae)
Red citrus mite (Panonychus citri)
Red fruit mite (Panonychus ulmi)
Red greenhouse mite (Tetranychus telarius)
Serviceberry mite (Tetranychus viennensis)
Walnut spider mite (Schizotetranychus carpini)
Brown fruit mite (Bryobia redicorzevi)
Gall mites (Eriophydidae)
Schlechtendal's mite (Aculus schlechtendali)
Grapevine gall mite (Eriophyes vitis)
Pear gall mite (Eriophyes pyri)
Blackcurrant bud mite (Eriophyes ribis)
Riznokigtiakov mites (Tarsonomidae)
Raspberry mite (Tarsonemus pallidus)
INSECTS
Pear psylla (Psylla piri) — egg stage.
Ulm scale (Lepidosaphes ulmi) — crawler stage.
APPLICATION
Apples, pears — 0.4-0.6 L / ha
Red fruit mite, brown fruit mite, serviceberry mite, pear gall mite, psyllas, scales (crawler stage), cicadas.
Application against psyllas and scales must be combined with a nonionic surfactant, such as Mero ® — 0.4 L / ha
Maximum number of applications — 2.
Pre-harvest interval — 20 days.
Use minimum rates for nurseries and orchards, medium rates for intensive orchards on dwarf rootstocks, maximum rates for orchards on semi-dwarf rootstocks. Use as much spray solution as possible (which the crop can retain on the surface).
Grapevines — 0.4 L / ha
Red fruit mite, spider mites, grapevine gall mites.
Maximum number of applications — 2.
Pre-harvest interval — 20 days.
SOYBEANS — 0.4-0.5 L / ha
Spider mites
Maximum number of applications — 2.
Pre-harvest interval — 20 days.
For soybean application, it is preferable to use sprayers with atomizers that create turbulent spray flow (for covering the underside of leaves).
ENVIRONMENTAL SAFETY
Envidor ® is harmless to bees, predatory insects, mites, soil fauna when applied at the correct dosage. When applying, observe spatial restrictions as required by legislation.
ADVANTAGES
Latest chemistry with an innovative mode of action, activity against populations resistant to conventional acaricides.
Effective control.
Adhesion to leaves (lipophilic properties), high resistance to rainfall.
Wide application window, less dependence on weather conditions (temperature, air humidity, rainfall).
Flexible application, exceptional control of all key species.
Strong ovicidal activity, control of all mobile developmental stages, effectiveness against females.
Acaricide with high secondary efficacy against psyllas, cicadas, and scales.
