Pre-emergence herbicide for use in corn, sunflower, sugar beet and rape crops. Active ingredient: Metolachlor, 960 g/l. Formulation: concentrate emulsion
Mode of action: The active ingredient of the soil herbicide Typhoon, a.e. — metolachlor is characterized by high herbicidal activity against annual grasses and some dicotyledonous weeds. Metolachlor acts on germinating weeds. The active ingredient of the preparation penetrates primarily through leaf tissue, actively inhibiting cell development and growth by disrupting lipid metabolism. As a result, metolachlor causes weed seedlings to stop growing and eventually die.
Main advantages of using the herbicide Typhoon, a.e.: provides extremely reliable protection for sugar beet, sunflower, corn crops during their critical growth and development period from the most common weeds, which cannot be eliminated by mechanical weed control or by different post-emergence herbicides with a narrow spectrum of action; in addition to effectively eliminating weeds, the herbicide facilitates crop maintenance during the vegetation period and increases yield; application of the soil herbicide allows reducing the number of mechanical soil treatments, preserving soil moisture and structure of the fertile layer; promotes active growth and development of crop plants, with no phytotoxic effects; saves scarce spring time.
