Roundup Extra

Why Bayer’s «Roundup Extra» is a field essential

Managing weeds efficiently is the foundation of a successful harvest. Unlike cheaper alternatives that only scorch the foliage, this product ensures that perennial weeds, both broad-leaved and grassy, are completely eliminated. It’s a professional tool for heavy-duty field cleaning.

Desiccation benefits

It is an effective way to normalize crop maturation, allowing for a smoother, more efficient harvest. Reduced grain moisture at harvest saves time, reduces drying costs, and minimizes the risk of mold or fungal issues.

Operational tips

• Application rate: With a rate of over 3.0 L/ha, it is essential to calibrate your sprayer correctly to maximize cost-efficiency.
• Timing: Only one application per season is needed, provided it is timed correctly against the weed life cycle.
• Safety: As a Class 3 hazard chemical, using proper personal protective equipment (PPE) is mandatory for the operator.
• Post-treatment interval: Plan for a 14-day window after the last application to see full results.

It’s a high-performance systemic solution that pays off by ensuring the field is clean and the crop is ready for harvesting on schedule.
